We operate two stages throughout the event. These are tilted trailers 40ft long x 8ft deep. Both stages are serviced by a 4000w P.A. system. Stage Lighting is also be provided and used as the evening draws-in.
We provide microphones for the amps and the instruments. Bands are asked to use their own amps.
We have a sound engineer, but if a band has its own sound person, we are happy for them to participate, as long as we are informed in advance.
To help our sound engineer plan for microphone placements, etc., and to help us advertise and introduce bands, we ask for the following information from bands:
- Type of music performed (rock, pop, blues, etc.)
- Exact line-up (number of members and instruments played)
- Information for introductions (recent gigs, etc)
Parking for the bands is provided behind the stages. We ask bands to arrive at least 30 minutes before they are due to perform. There is time to dismantle/set up while the other stage is playing. However, any sound check has to be conducted within a band's scheduled session.
