There are a couple of Quiz nights being held at the Douglas Bader pub in aid of MOTG. The first is on Sunday February 26th (a general knowledge theme) and the second is a music quiz on April 15th. Team entries (4-8 people per team) should be made to the Douglas Bader - booking tends to be essential for these popular quizzes. The cost is £5 per head including a light supper.

So MOTG 2011 is over, and a review can be read here. Of course a big aspect of the event is to raise money for charity, and a few days ago a presentation evening was held to officially hand over a cheque for £5000 to Vanessa Bell from EACH.

Vanessa thanked MOTG for allowing EACH to be part of such a marvellous day and said the money would be put to very good use. Also during the evening we enjoyed another musical set by Benjamin Bloom, who had played during MOTG 2011.

During this year's event a plea was made for more help and support in organising 2012 and beyond. The good news is that a number of people have stepped up to the challenge and are now on the MOTG committee, ready to get stuck in. We are now looking towards 2012 and hopefully a better, more successful event.

At the moment the prospective date for MOTG 2012 is July 21st. If you wish to contact us about next years event , email us. More information to follow!
